Nothing brings me more joy than to see a new life enter this world, except of course when I personally know the family and can share in the excitement of welcoming their newest love. Little baby Knox is the much-loved addition to the Turner family - so much so that when I arrived at the session, the first thing big sister Indie cried out excitedly was "Come and see my new brother!!" It was so sweet watching her dote on Knox and give him lots of cuddles and kisses.
“Before our session, I was concerned that I wouldn’t have everyone in the family and the house ready with a newborn. But that it was something I definitely didn’t need to worry about. You worked around the chaos and everything just flowed. The session was so easy, natural and FUN! I love that my 2yr old had fun. I love that I can look at the photos and have fond memories of the day. It was so relaxing and as a mum with a newborn, I never felt awkward or rushed. We had such a lovely and easy morning.”
In-Home Newborn Photography
Laura & Luke also wanted to create some family photos outside under their huge backyard tree. The wooden platform they're sitting on will soon be home to the kids' new cubby house that Luke is building them. I love that we were able to create a 'before' picture to look back on in the years to come when both kids are bigger & older and having all sorts of adventures together in their cubbyhouse. That's why I love in-home photography sessions. The photos we create are telling a very unique family story full of treasured memories.
